Inexpensive Multi-pen Cases?

I'd like to get a case (or maybe a couple of cases) to store my growing pen collection (26) and keep the pens from getting dusty, scratched, etc. Mostly the case will live in my desk drawer, but every now and then I may want to take the pens somewhere else to work on a project.

Cult Pens has some 20-pen (http://www.cultpens.com/i/q/CU27968/cult-pens-leather-presentation-case-for-20-pens) and 40-pen cases (http://www.cultpens.com/i/q/CU27969/cult-pens-leather-presentation-case-for-40-pens) which would do the trick, but they are rather expensive for something that will mostly live in a desk drawer.

Does anyone have any recommendations for alternative cases (preferably in UK or Europe, given shipping costs)?

I have a couple of these Chinese 48 pen cases (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0148BASDA/), which seem okay to me. They're not going to make you gasp in wonder and awe at the quality materials, but they do the job.

If you have inexpensive pens, cheaper cases are the way to go. If, however you have some expensive pens, I feel they deserve something nicer. I realize the pens do not have feelings and will spew ink on you if they live in an expensive case.

One of these turned up today. Exactly as you described. And my pens probably feel it's a step up from the customised cardboard box they've been forced to slum around in :)

These look great, but shipping cost kills it as an option for us Brits :(

And despite having scoured UK woodworking suppliers websites, I can't find anything similar being sold over here.

I just bought one of the 36 size of the Chinese cases a couple days ago, so don't have it yet, but that's what I was expecting it to be: sufficient. I don't have the slightest clue why like 95% of pen cases are either kids school pouch type or insanely expensive leather holders, which mostly only even hold 1-3 pens! Even if we FP folk are a small niche, surely with the amount of fountain pens that get sold & collected there is a decent market for larger, affordable cases!

And yes, the US really does have a much wider range of options available than, well, Europe as a whole, as far as I can tell. There doesn't even seem to be a source of lined inserts to adapt existing boxes or drawers. I know this to my fingers' cost, having fairly recently spent a few days of solid scoring, folding, and lining of cardboard to DIY a solution for adapting a Moore & Wright engineer's tool chest. I mean it worked, and there's an undoubted sense of satisfaction, but oh boy, does it get tedious after the first two drawers...:blink:

I have since a couple of years a handmade 50 pens 5 drawer case from Geoff Morris at pencase.co.uk which is awesome.
I can only recommend his cases, they are high quality, not too expensive, handmade and customizable.
But currently his website seems to be not available.

Actually, I ordered a 12-pen case too, although I don't strictly need it yet :)

But I have a horrible feeling I may need another case before 2017 is out.
