I love tuckies, and especially this one in one of my favorites of Sheaffer colors, the carmine. It's a pity that I can see previous unsuccessful attempts to disassemble this pen as marks on the body. But with some polish, I should be able to improve the condition quite a bit.

It took me 2 days to soak/pull/soak/wiggle/soak/pull... until I can pull the end part off so I can restore it.
This Tuckaway is different than the others I have, instead of an inner tube, this one uses the barrel to contain the ink just like its bigger cousins. I didn't realize that until I accidentally saw that the barrel is rather translucent.
