This is another Signum Orione pen, this time in red with a Sterling silver cap and an 18K medium nib. Like the blue one this is described as piston filled but I suspect it is a captive converter. I will say that these two pens are among the smoothest operating piston or converter pens I have ever owned, smoother piston feel than some of my 149s that were serviced by folk like Brad Torelli.

The price is $135.00 plus shipping at cost. On Hold pending payment

Hi jar

Could you advise how much this pen weighs, uncapped, unposted? Thanks

Here are the boring details:

Capped: 39.4g
Uncapped: 17.8g
Length capped: 145mm
Length uncapped: 130mm

I don't recommend posting this pen but for an unusual reason; the piston is so easy to turn it's just to simple to turn that sucker when posting or unposting the cap. That can get exciting.

Thank you, jar. Details aren't so boring - I always check as I rarely use pens over 25g uncapped. I can see the reason for not posting - it could indeed make things exciting. I don't post anyway, unless it is a pocket-pen type.
