Here's a pen that may be interesting to discuss.
It walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, ... but in this case it's not a duck.

Here's a complete write up (http://willvintage.nextcoder.com/2016/12/14/a-clone-made-in-japan/), which looks like this:

75 views without a single comment on a post about a pen that none of us sees everyday.

Sometimes I don't know what to expect from this -- I thought -- fountain pen forum. :)

Very interesting. Fascinating that they produced such a close clone. A pity the nib is uninteresting.

I was just going to ask how you found it. But then, how did you even know to look for it?

At least the nib is tipped :)
It's not uninteresting, it gets the job done without skipping or scratching, which is more than I can say about a lot of vintage nibs as it was found.
But it's not as nice as a flexible Eversharp, for instance, neither it has the Sheaffer feel.

IIRC, I was searching for vintage japan fountain pens on ebay.
