Hi, this listing is for a Lamy 2000 in broad with a Pendleton Brown Butter Line Stub or BLS. The grind is pretty crisp, and as you can see by the photos, the often gushing nature of the lamy 2k nib has been toned down so the line variation is pretty great. That being said, it is a pretty crisp nib, good contrast, good line variation, excellent flex. It is not, contrary to its name, like butter. If you would like it to be smoothened some, I can happily do that for you. I am asking 140$ for this as it is in basically mint condition with little to no use other than putting the grind on it. Shipping included to CONUS, international shipping buyer pays. Dont miss out on this, let me know if you need another writing sample.

Hello, I'd like to make an offer but have a couple of questions:

How is the sweet spot?
When you say crisp, is it toothy? How would you smooth it further?

it has a sweet spot, but not as large as nibs that are butter smooth. I can increase that spot by smoothening with micromesh. I have various grades of it and depending on your preference i can smoothen anywhere from slightly soft to butter smooth. I have to warn however, with an increased sweet spot and smoother nib, the distinctiveness of the line variation would be more subdued.
