I found this "The Charlex Pen" and in the pen body it writes: Sele fulling Reg. while it should probably write: Self Filling Reg.

Anyone knows the year of the pen?

Thanks in advance.

Welcome home. Pull up a stump and set a spell. No idea on the year but definitely modern. Most likely Italian sourced. Third tier and look out for leaks at the plunger seal.

Third tier

I've seen you talk about tiers before, and never got it, Jar. What do you mean by it? Is it your own categorization? The criteria is price?

It's a recognised classification but I've never seen the exact definition. Someone with more brains will be along soon to clarify.

ETA: Should have used t'internet: http://www.richardspens.com/?page=ref/glossary/T.htm

Go down the page and you'll find 'third tier' and links to first and second tiers.

Also Richard has a write up on the filler system shown. It is called a syringe filler (http://www.richardspens.com/?page=ref/fillers/fillers.htm#syringe).
