All the ink reviews on FP Geeks from members are great. I have a question, when posting your ink reviews what method are you using to post images for your review?

Scanning a ink review sheet produces too small of an image.

Scanning things can produce a massive file and image. Check your DPI. I usually go overkill and do at least 300.

I do 600 DPI but crop a small portion so it can be seen close up.

I scan at 300 DPI and it's a very large image to start with, but I always reduce it in size to 9cm width. Then I save it as a jpeg file that reduces it's overall size further. I find that's a good width for posting on a page in this forum and in FPN. The other option is reducing it in size to 800 pixels.

For online viewing that's the right sort of size. 9cm width comes up at 1063 pixels at 300 DPI.

I also make a point of cropping off the edges of the review form before I resize it down to 9cm. I don't need white edges taking up room on the page. :)

If you get it wrong on here you can always 'edit your post' to change it, as time to 'edit post' never seems to run out. :)
