eBay find from another collector.
I did a dip test and the nib is a firm fine/XF The nib is 14k gold. I'm not in love with the nib enough (too fine for me) to spend what it will cost to get the pen restored. This would be a good pen for someone looking to practice their restoration skills and should yield a good writer.
The pressure bar and Lever are working and the nib section removes from the body of the pen without any trouble. it will need a new sac and breather tube though. The cap also needs some work- it is the YGF version but the metal part is loose and needs to be glued back onto the the base portion of the cap, right now you can turn it or remove it completely. There is also a metal piece missing from the top of the cap. The bottom of the cap also needs to be straightened but it does not affect the function.
$20 shipped in CONUS + Alaska and Hawaii
