I wasn't sure what forum to post a question about this, I found this today at a junk shop for next to nothing in a bag of pens and pencils, After a couple hours researching, I am trying to figure out how one would know if this is gold filled or solid gold.

I am pretty certain it is not plated, as the threads and inside are all the same color, it is also very heavy for such a small item.

Any advice would be appreciated

Pretty certain it's an old pencil. It looks like the style from the 1880s-1930s or so.

As for what it's made of...no idea but it's it's old old then it would be gold
