A friend of mine is dissolving his pen collection and I will help him to sell the one and other pen as good as I can. So in the next couple of weeks, some very uncommon pens will be for sale here. Don’t miss and check my offers.
For sale today is a very uncommon and RARE* Lamy 27 in 14 carat solid gold with barley corn pattern. Although, there a couple of small dings, the pen is MINT and UNUSED! This is most probably the only known example of this variant of the Lamy 27.
(*people who know me knows that I do not use this term too often.)
This pen is in great condition. The piston works as it should (tested with Water). The nib is a very crisp OB(B). Although the pen is unused, there are a couple of smallest dings on the overlay which I tried to capture in the pictures.
I am totally convinced that this pen was factory made. If you have a close look to the picture of the disassembled pen, you will note that the barrel is entirely made of clear plastic and only covered with the solid gold overlay. So this can’t be an aftermarket adoption or jewelers work and must be an original Lamy product. A must have for a serious Lamy collector!
