FS: Sheaffer Balance Petite set in Carmine Red

I have for sale a Pen and Pencil set of a Lady Sheaffer Balance in Carmine Red. I have fully disassembled the pen, cleaned it, installed a new sac, reassembled the pen, gave it a light polish, wrote several pages with it, then cleaned it again. There is brassing to the trim on both but more noticeable on the pencil. There is a personalization embossed on the pen "MEDA EVANS". The nib is a nice XXF. I would pay good money to Masuyama to make a nib this fine. This pen comes with it standard. The pen measures 4.25" uncapped. 4.75" capped. and 5.5" posted. I have no problem using this pen when posted even with my big man hands. Price includes USPS Priority shipping to CONUS.

Nice pen! Note that it is not a Petite; that model, significantly smaller than this, had been dropped several years before the Carmine color was introduced ('39). This is the Lady Sheaffer model.
