Hello from Saint Louis, Missouri, USA

Hi,
My name is Carl and I have a lot to learn about fountain pens. I started in the summer of 2016 with a $15 big name pen that I got at Office Max, (I won't say the name of the pen company). That pen was awful. Then I read a little more about pens and ordered a Pilot Metropolitan. There was so much difference, I threw the first one away, and I still don't regret it one bit.
I have purchased a couple more pens, but right now, I am concentrating on my handwriting more than building a collection.
I really enjoy the discussions here and hope to keep learning.

Lady Onogaro - Hahaha! I came to Saint Louis when I was in my 30's. That was over 20 years ago. Yeah, the thing about "Where did you go to High School" is still being asked. When I tell them my actual high school, (which is more than 100 miles away), it really throws them off. But I like it here just fine. It's home now. Hope you are adjusted to LA.
