Selling to raise some funds after a financially crippling grail pen purchase!

The Waterman Exception is one of my absolute favorite modern pens and this is the large size Night and Day Black model with etched stripes along the sides. This pen is in excellent condition except for a small crack in the lacquer along one of the rounded edges of the cap. This crack is only to the lacquer, with the metal body of the cap being unaffected. I wouldn't have known it was there at all if I hadn't been inspecting this to offer it for sale.
The rhodium plated 18k medium nib is exceptionally smooth (pun not intended, but appropriate). A legitimately wonderful writer that is on par with the very best being offered from any company. This is a c/c pen. The nib unit connects to the body with a cool "bayonet" system that ensures that it always lines up perfectly with the flat side of the body.
A genuinely phenomenal pen!
