Hello.
Pen: Aurora Optima 997 CN
Nib: 14k Rhodium Plated medium nib, custom ground by Pendleton Brown into a BLS, his signature 'Butter-Line Stub' grind.
Nib characteristics: A cursive italic/stub with crisp line variation. Offers very pleasant feedback and is a joy to write with. Rather wet writer.
Defects: Two cracks originating from the back end of the outer barrel (from the chrome ring) and a deep scratch in the cap.
Functionality: The pen works flawlessly right now and I assume that's not going to change in the near future. I've been using it like this for several months. The pen employs an outer sleeve (the black part that has the cracks) over an inner barrel where the ink goes and the piston resides and operates.
