View Full Version : SOLD Sheaffer Targa 1005, 23k GP lined pattern

This is another pen which almost never made it into my rotation. I hope I could find it a new home. This is a Sheaffer Targa 1005, i.e 23k gold plated line pattern. The pen is in very good used condition with only microscratches and no dent, brassing, engraving, etc. There is also a blank area for engraving, which is nice if you are into that. The pen has a XF to F nib and there is a reference of a Waterman F nib at the end of the writing sample. The nib is 14k 585, writes smoothly and has a little spring, what one commonly finds on a 14k gold nib, not flex, not semiflex. In short, this is a beautiful pen with good performance, out of production and in not so easy to find condition. It's too shiny for me to carry around and I prefer broader nibs at home. A Sheaffer squeeze converter is also included. I'm asking $60 shipped USCON, including Paypal fee. I think the price is reasonable for a gold nib Targa in this condition and will consider reasonable offer. Thanks for looking. :)

Yes. The standard piston converter.
