Hello everyone
Up for sale is a celluloid Montblanc 142 fountain pen. The smallest pen of the Meisterstück series with the iconic telescopic piston and the original two-tone 14C Oblique-Broad nib.

The pen is in perfect working condition as it has just been serviced by vintage Montblanc expert Francis, also known as Fountainbel. Francis performed a complete overhaul, including complete disassembling, ultrasonic rinsing, manual external polishing, cleaning and greasing the telescopic system, adding a new piston seal and swaging the cap rings. I would like to thank him once again for his efforts.
Features:
- A smooth two-tone 14 C OB (Left-Footed Oblique Broad) nib that offers significant line variation.
- Ebonite feed
- Short length ink window with some ambering. Free of ink residue.
- Telescopic piston filling mechanism that works flawlessly, fills the pen with ease to its maximum ink capacity.
- Wonderful writing performance. Please check the writing sample to see how special this vintage 14C oblique broad nib is.
- Flaws: microscratches plus some small scratches can be found on the pen; the piston turning knob has a 3 mm x 1 mm chip out of it. Please check the HQ photos, especially the chip marked with a red circle.
No box or papers.
