I have heard only good things about OMAS pens, and I have here a Limited Edition #3884 OMAS D-Day 50th Commemoration pen. Released in back in 1994, that's 23 years ago, this pen is a comfortable -sized pen with an Army green barrel, neat chrome cap and gold trims. The band is a wide and beautifully engraved D-DAY 1944-1994. Plus this pen is a piston-filler.
I really like the heft and balance of this pen. And the big 18K Omas nib is springy with huge tipping material which makes this an excellent candidate for sending out to a nibmeister and get back an Italic writer.
No box, just the pen, which will be packaged securely.
Cosmetics: Very little sign of use. Lovely green barrel with OMAS Extra Italy engraving. All trims are dandy.
Condition: Nearly new condition. The seller told me that this pen is never inked, so I didn't either. The writing sample was written using dipped ink.
Nib: I can see why people are raving about OMAS gold nibs. This Medium OMAS 18K 750 nib writes more like a Bold (and smooth, juicy and a wet writer), perfect for significant writings. See the writing sample.
