I don't draw so art blogs fascinate me, particularly the ones by fountain pen users or artists who use fountain pens & inks, among them:
http://www.gentianosman.com/
http://hudsonvalleysketches.blogspot.com/

I think one of my favorite FP blogs is http://inkophile.wordpress.com. Her link list is overwhelming but useful.

:) Where's your links?

LOL I have only one: http://www.fountainpenhospital.com/
I get updates of their special sales which I'm addicted to. I like to look more than anything, and covet. And keep asking myself, How much am I willing to spend/can afford to spend on a fountain pen? And just how many do I actually NEED?

I'm learning about other sites from all of you! Which is one of the reasons I'm here. :)

- www.engeika.com for other Japanese pens;
- www.gopens.com for vintage eye candies;
- GregMinuskin.com for vintage flex and custom stubs at great prices;

+1 I love how the pens are compared or described not only on their technical merits (which is done thoroughly and well) but how you often talk about the history -- where they fit into the market, what they were competing with or replacing, what would replace them, what needs they were responding to, technical restraints, etc.

Excellent job. I always look forward to your posts.

Not a pen website per se, but I did make a shortened url of a google search of kickstarter for the various pen projects that appear there, since (currently, at least) the ks search feature is lacking, imo: http://j.mp/Pens_ks

Also? It's now just a site for information (since Mike Scherer's stopped making them), but the site for my BOMAPen D6 model #3 (http://j.mp/BOMAPenD6) - http://www.inklingpen.com

Hello all, while my blog is devoted to mechanical pencils, a lot of the research that turns up is helpful for both pen and pencil devotees. 100% commercial-free -- thought I'd mention it here because I always welcome additional information that readers can supply.

I've not posted for awhile, as I try to stay focused on finishing a couple of book projects. I'll be back to posting in a month or so, but in the meantime there's a healthy archive of stuff you might find useful.

Endlesspens.com has some great prices on inks and pens. I have bought there a few times and always had a positive experience.

If you are looking for restored pens and or nib grinding services, I highly recommend penrealm.com. Kirk does an amazing job with his grinds and restores pens as well and is a staple in the fountain pen community.

I would have mentioned goulet but their customer service and quality control has taken a big dip. Several days ago a lot of members of goulet nation were discussing this very thing. Now I’m looking for another dealer on the east coast to shop with

He also sells some TWSBI models as well. You can get one with a custom grind as well.

I also need to mention Will from redeempens.com. If you are looking for a vintage pen or a pen that has a flexible nib, he’s your guy. He specializes in pens with flex nibs and is a great resource if you are looking for one. I got one of my vintage pens fitted with a flex nib from him and I couldn’t be happier. He is a great guy to work with, highly recommend.

Something as simple as returning a text from a new customer goes a long way. Some of these pen dealers see themselves as celebrities and that’s a real turn off, especially considering that most if not all of the small dealers have less wealth than many of us old codgers. That’s not bragging, it’s just a fact, as many of the old farts around here can attest to. I hadn’t bought anything lately, because the company that I had shopped with for several years, took a big dip in quality control. Shopping around, I checked out GoldSpot pens. They’re a small company, out of New Jersey, as I’m sure most of you already know. I had a few questions and I fired off a few texts. The owner, Tom, replied within 24 hours. I appreciated that and I bought 3 pens from him. He even sent me an unsolicited text, asking me about pens that I may like. I have a love hate relationship with Fountain Pen Hospital. Colorado is good about responding to questions. So is jet pens. Well, I said a mouth full.
Allan.

Putting in a giant UP for Heritage Collectibles' .
Great site for old pens if that's your thing ! Mostly excellent prices and good turn over .

And, of course Barry Rose's site , Writetime'. This one is a gem and Barry is a top bloke !!

And....'Penamie' ....bought many a fine pen from there too.

I'd put 'vintage pens ' cos Mauricio has some superbe pens , but his prices are waaayyy outta my reach !!!!

I'd like to have a big whinge about sites that you open to their 'vintage pens' and 99% of them have Sold or Unavailable.
I mean really guys ??!! How about an Archive sold page , and have the for sale page with pens one can actually buy !!!

I must add , that these sites are worth frequenting because of their pretty much inherent integrity, and to that end I have no hesitation in adding Deb's site ..Goodwriterspenspens to the list .
Her pens are guaranteed to perform perfectly and her prices are honest and realistic.

I cannot recommend these sites too highly.

I would recommend to everyone the pen for planning. I think writing a plan will be a daily habit for many people in this life. One of the reasons why you should use a special pen for your planning is to make the activity more interesting. It will help you to have the excitement, passion, fun, and creativity to effectively plan each day. I am presented with a list of quality pens reviews here: https://www.artnyfair.com/best-pens-for-planners/ (https://www.artnyfair.com/best-pens-for-planners/). I bought a few of them and used them very nice and very well.

What a strange post. English is obviously not the writer's first language and the site linked to is written the same way.

It isn't strange, it's a spam post. Reported.
