Montblanc 149 Fountain Pen
Recently refurbished by Montblanc with everything, only the original vintage nib kept.
Pristine condition, no scratches, nice and shiny. Just beautiful.
Piston works perfectly, operates smoothly. Striped ink window tells you your ink level. Brass piston revealed after turning piston turning knob.
What makes this particular montblanc 149 special is the nib.
Fine nib ground to an Architect nib
Pen writes wonderfully. Good flow, good ink shading charcteristics, smooth. Being an architect nib it does have its sweet spot, very nice writer.
Had it not been for medical school expenses I'd love to keep this lovely pen.
Pen is ready for use.
