Curvy Style Fountain Pen in Amber Swirl Acrylic with Cap Inlay

Up for sale here is pen that I made a few months ago as a custom order, but unfortunately remains unclaimed as the one who ordered it is no longer in a position to purchase. So, it has landed on my 'available' page (kcavers3.blogspot.com (http://kcavers3.blogspot.ca/2017/03/for-sale-curvy-style-fp-in-amber-swirl.html)) The pen is brand new and unused.

The pen is one of my Curvy style pens in a lovely translucent Amber Swirl acrylic. The cap has been dressed up with a black finial that has an amber inlay - just to add a little extra to the pen.

Dimension are:

-length capped 135mm

-length uncapped 131 mm

-cap max diameter 15mm

-barrel max diameter 14mm.

-grip max diameter 11.5mm


The nib as pictured is a fine JoWo 18K, but I am happy to swap it out for a steel nib of your choice (EF, F, M, B, 1.1mm stub, 1.5mm stub) or I can do a custom grind for $30 (eg stub/CI, architect).

Whatever nib you choose, I will test it, adjust it and smooth it before shipping.


Cost with steel nib of choice: $160 USD plus shipping (shipping is $15 to US/Canada)

OR - Cost with the 18K F nib: $285 USD plus shipping (the 18K nib is at cost, no profit)

The pen is cartridge/converter fill, and comes with a Schmidt converter.

No - I usually make the Curvy style pens clipless so there is nothing taking away from the form.

For sure. Just needs the usual sort of treatment - a bit of silicone grease on the section-to-barrel threads. There will already be some on the nib unit-to-section threads.
