Easter can be a harrowing holiday. Eggregiously [eggreligiously?] so for some. But for those of you who've made it this far (and with all your limbs intact), the Parker BunnyTM has been busy laying a basketful of blue diamond eggs. A half dozen no less! Guaranteed to taste better than peeps:

Condition (n.b.): All the pens listed below have been restored in the last 6 months with filling systems completely overhauled. The button fillers have new sacs, the Vacs new diaphragms. Each is guaranteed to write smoothly and consistently and fill as designed without leaks or other issues. These pens have no chips, cracks, or personal engravings (except for #5, which has an engraving). No bent nibs, misaligned tines, missing or mismatched parts, or threading issues.

Writing samples: I've included writing samples of just the two pens with flexible nibs. But if you'd like a sample of one of the Vacs, I'd be happy to oblige.

Shipping: Your choice of $4 (USPS First-Class) or $7 (USPS Priority), each with tracking to CONUS locations. Please contact me for cost of shipping if located abroad.

Order, Payment, & Guarantee: Pens are placed on hold for the first person to PM me with firm request to purchase. But if I haven't received Paypal payment within 24 hrs, then they become available to the next person. All pens are guaranteed to be in the condition in which I've described them. If I've missed something or the filling mechanism is not fully functional, the buyer may contact me up to 7 days after receiving the pen for a full refund. I've sold pens online for about a decade. Please check my past listings here as well as on the classifieds and historical sales forums on FPN (username: Estragon) for some of my previous offerings.

1. 1941 Vacumatic Debutante Set (Azure Blue, double-jewel, GPT, speedline fillerEF nib). Length is approx. 4 3/4" capped and 5 1/2" posted. Pen and pencil are both fully functional. Springy monotone 14k Vac arrow nib lays down a particularly smooth EF line. Very clean with no appreciable wear to the gold-plated trim. Imprint with date code fully legible. Decent transparency with ink level visible. Fills to the hilt. An exquisite set.
Price: $110 SOLD

2. 1937 Thrift Time Pen (grey marble, NPT, button filler, flexible EF nib). Often confused with the Parker Challenger, the "Thrift Time" pens are less common by comparison, with details such as matching celluloid accoutrements that set them part from the Deluxe Challenger line. A link to a thread with more info about these pens: http://fountainpenboard.com/forum/index.php?/topic/2236-parkers-challenger-like-thrift-time-pens/. The length is approx. 5" capped. Proper "Parker Pen" nib is quite expressive, laying down a smooth EF line that flexes to a BB+ (see writing sample). Imprint with date code fully legible. Typically, one finds the trim on these pens trashed – especially when nickel plated. This one is better than most, with brassing to about 1/3 of the cap rings and most of the clip washer, but only a sliver to the clip (on the clip ball). An interesting piece and an affordable option for the flex enthusiast.
Price: $80 SOLD

3. 1938 Vacumatic Junior (grey marble, double-jewel, standard girth, NPT, lockdown filler, EF nib). Capped length is 4 7/8". Proper monotone 14k Parker Vac arrow nib lays down a smooth EF line. Lockdown filler is fully functional, locks into position, and is free of wear. Color is excellent and even across the barrel and cap, but the pen has lost nearly all of its transparency. Nickel plated trim is very clean for this model. No underlying brass is visible, but there is some high point wear to the sides of the arrow on the clip, around the cap tassie, and some microscratches that dull the original luster. Deep imprint and date code are fully legible. A clean pen and a solid writer, which I had in my collection for some time before chancing upon a mint example (see my post in the pen photos subforum).
Price: $150

4. 1946 Vacumatic Major (Silver Pearl, single-jewel, NPT, plastic plunger, semi-flex EF nib). Capped length is 5 1/16". Proper monotone 14k Parker Vac arrow is a smooth, semi-flexible EF, yielding roughly a M line under pressure. Fills with a full barrel of ink. Condition is a cut above most, with perfect color and great transparency (only slightly ambered to orange, PM if you'd like a photo). Deep imprint and date code are fully legible. Nickel plated trim has retained its luster, but has some light scratches to the cap band and sides of the clip. Otherwise near-mint.
Price: $135 SOLD

5. 1945 Vacumatic Major (Silver Pearl, single-jewel, NPT, plastic plunger, EF nib). Capped length is 5 1/16". Proper monotone 14k Parker Vac arrow nib lays down a smooth EF line. Deep imprint and date code are fully legible. Fills with a full barrel of ink. Has a small, heat-stamped professional engraving on the barrel. It's pretty inconspicuous after being filled in with a China marker, which is durable but can easily be removed if desired with a toothbrush. No brassing to the nickel plated trim. Transparency is not as good as #4, being more ambered and opaque by comparison – though ink is still visible when held to light.
Price: $100 SOLD

6. 1930s Parker Televisor (grey hatched/candy stripe, NPT, button filler, flexible F stub). This is the larger, full-sized model, measuring 5 3/16" capped. These pens were made in Canada for the British market, and often come with unusually expressive nibs. This one is no exception, being equipped with a proper Parker 14k nib that happens to be buttery smooth factory stub with some nice flexibility, laying down a F line that widens to a BB+ under pressure (see writing sample). Great color, and trim is exceptionally clean on the whole but for brassing to about 20% of the cap bands. Not too often these crop up for sale round these parts.
Price: $130 SOLD

In keeping with the spirit of the day, allow me to offer a $10 discount to the first buyer who can identify the creator of these little Easter Bunnies:

edit: the buyer of #5 has accurately identified the creator as one Mr. David Lynch.
