I want to disassemble a Falcon nib unit to get the worked on nib and insert it to my elabo unit. The elabo and the falcon metal share a acre thread and my new nib has the smaller falcon resin thread. My elabo is resin so I thought it would fit but the threads are different. As I loathe the nib on the metal falcon, I am happy to pull the nib off and insert this new one, but cannot be done or will anyone swap a red metal falcon F for a resin pen preferable F but doesn't matter.

Can it be done ?

I have no idea if it can be done. I have not handled a Falcon yet. SBREBrown did dissemble the resin nib unit recently. I wonder if the procedure is the same with the metal one. Do you know Jose Noyola on twitter? Maybe if you ask him, he might trade. @peninkterest and tell him @inktronics sent you. No guarantees though. :D

I'll look for the video but a trade would be good atm. Saves me shelling out more money
