View Full Version : Free to a good home! Antique ink well & blotter

Hello all!

The wife and I are cleaning up some things as we make space for our adorable baby girl. While doing so we came across this lovely ink well and blotter. They are from her uncle who was WWII vet well he was alive in during that time anyway, the wife thinks I have him confused with another relative, so they are definitely likely from the 1940's, maybe the 1950's. They do need some TLC. The blotter will need a new base, the one it's sitting on in the photo has the screw holes stripped out so it's really the handle that you'll be wanting. ;) I set the handle on the block to better show how it is intended to look.

Free to a good home!

The metal appears to be brass, and they are high quality and heavy.

I actually need to get the final word on how much shipping will be. When I know I'll pass along the amount. At which time I'll finalize who will be getting these items. Should know by Monday at the latest.
