Pelikan 400NN OBB Nib

Offered for sale is a Pelikan 400NN with a stunning springy 14k gold OBB (oblique double broad) nib from the late 1950s, likely 1958. This pen features the "safe lock" thread feature, and the cap engraving reads PELIKAN 400 - GERMANY.

In terms of condition, this pen is extra fine with the following issues:
- light brassing on the clip;
- slightly faded green stripes (compared with the portion that is under the cap when screwed down);
- a slight patch of "hazing" (see picture below).
Otherwise, the barrel has wonderful translucency, and the piston mechanism works smoothly.
