Offered for sale is a Pelikan M400 Tortoiseshell Brown from the 1990s (i.e. not the re-release from last year). I purchased this pen new and inked it just once, so it is in near mint condition. The pen has a beautifully springy 14k gold medium nib, very easy to get decent line variation, and great barrel transparency. The piston mechanism works smoothly too. This pen's cap band is inscribed "PELIKAN" and "GERMANY"
