Waterman Ideal Desk Pen

Nib:
14k gold nib - "brown" keyhole nib
Nib writes very good, fine point. Tines are aligned and pen is ready to write.
Full-Flex nib with a good spring back. Doesn't require much pressure to flex, but at the same time it can be used for everyday writing. Fun to do calligraphy with. See writing sample (sorry for sloppy handwriting)
Waterman Feed keeps up very good with flex, delivering consistent ink flow.
Probably one of my favorite nibs that I've used.

Barrel:
Lever filler restored with new sac.
Imprint on barrel is super legible.
I believe the barrel is black celluloid and the grip section near the nib is ebonite. The ebonite grip section oxidized a bit which is normal aging process for ebonite of this age.

Desk Stand:
The Desk stand is pretty heavy and sturdy, made of a nice black white and brown marble material. It is in great condition as well. The underside of the desk stand has a green material that has Waterman's imprints on it.

I've also found that the nib can be put into a #6 Bock or Jowo housing unit. Won't work with Jowo feed, but it does work with a Bock feed.

Bock nib units are screw in units for modern pens.

The waterman nib and the waterman feed are friction (pressed) fit into the waterman pen

Sorry this has been sold a while ago. I might post a waterman red nib in the future with Bock feed and nib unit let's see
