Not sure to be honest, not an expert with Montblanc 149. Perhaps someone on this forum knows....

But the gold part of the nib seems to have gained some patina with time. More of like a reddish gold rather than gold color. So i guess its an older model?

Your 149 has a split ebonite feed which places production between the mid 1970s and early 1990s. The pen looks great.

Split ebonite feed was available on 149s sold in US from ca. 1981/82-1991. The nib on this pen was produced from ca. 1992-1996. It's a lovely pen, perhaps with a replacement nib. Or if it has brass piston threads, then maybe the feed is a replacement, although the split ebonite feed was available with the brass piston threads in late 90 & most of 1991, a transitional year for model 149. Just providing information from my experience. Regardless of dates & components, this is a beautiful 149 at a very fair price. Good luck with your sale, akafridi3!
