Afternoon all, wondering if anyone can recommend an ink to me, either a dark purple/Black or a black ink with a purple sheen.
A sheening black ink could have a different colour sheen, but purple would be ideal.

Maybe you would like Diamine Night Sky Shimmering ink, it's a nice effect ink

Aurora Black has purple in it, but it is muted, dusky

Kyo no oto Nurebairo is a lovely black with a kind of copper-y sheen.

Diamine Eclipse? I suppose it depends on nib width, though.

de Atramentis Aubergine (though this is more of a dark purple than a black-purple)

Montblanc Lavender Purple (again, more of a dark purple than a black-purple)
de Atramentis Black Currant (if you can get over the awful pseudo-scent)

And maybe even Platinum Lavender Black.

I second Sailor Shigure, a very dark, dusky purple colour.

Or you could look at De Atramentis Elderberries...

Robert Oster has two, Barossa Grape & Purple Soul. I've never tried these, but the brand has nothing but love in the feedback from the community.
Also I suddenly remembered, good old R&K Scabiosa!

Oh... and based on Chrissy's photo... it looks like Diamine Purple Dream is a really dark purple from the new batch of Anniversary inks.

I'm not sure why I didn't mention that one myself. Doh! :facepalm: I was just thinking about it too.
