Hi everyone,

A year or so ago I went on eBay and won myself a "Fritz & Hawley Special", a BCHR ringtop pen just a bit longer than a Waterman 52 1/2v. It's a slim lever-filler with a wavy barrel and cap pattern and has a lovely Wahl #2 flexible nib. I don't write "pretty" with a flex nib, but I enjoy writing with this pen.

Would anybody know anything about the makers? Is it second or third-tier (I don't know how those are defined)? It may be a 1920s or 1930s pen, but I can't estimate its age. How common is it for other brand pens to be found with Wahl nibs?

Thanks if you're able to share any info with me :)
