No, not kidding at all. Ready for your collecting and writing pleasure is this almost never seen rarity – the ORIGINAL and GENUINE Omas Arco Brown Spina di Pesce FP and RB set, one of only 50 sets ever issued.
What? You’ve seen several similar pens sold recently on Ebay and pen boards? Well, not exactly. If you check, I believe you will find those “Half Spinas” contain Spina bottoms and regular caps that were put together from parts remaining in Omas inventory when they went out of business. They are genuine Omas parts for sure, just to the best of my knowledge not in a configuration that was actually issued and sold by Omas.
The Fountain Pen and Roller Ball set being offered here is the real deal – one of only 50 sets ever issued by Omas. To make it even more special, the fountain pen has Omas’ special order, extra cost 52 degree nib. This nib, somewhat akin to Sailor’s Zoom nib, is designed to provide an enlarged sweet spot as well as some line variation as the angle to paper changes. The pens are in near mint condition, very lightly pre-loved, and accompanied by their original box, leather signed Omas pen sleeves, and booklet. Their provenance is impeccable, having been owned before me by Sarj Minhas (“The One Man Pen Show”) and later by well known collector and blogger Kim Sosin.
I will miss this set greatly, but the time has come to allow another collector to enjoy them as much as Sarj, Kim, and I have.
$2995 includes shipping in US. $100 discount for wire transfer rather than Paypal.
Trade or Partial Trade Offers will be considered.
No, I will not break the set to sell the pens separately.
