This Nakaya Portable Writer model bears the beautiful new Toki Tamenuri urushi finish on ebonite. Toki Tamenuri is a recently introduced finish that is seen by many as a substitute for the popular but discontinued Shiro Tamenuri finish. Nibs.com writes that “The Toki-tamenuri Portable Writer is a much anticipated exclusive Nakaya color. The pastel red under-painting shines through the darker urushi over-coat.”
This piece is brand new, never used and features a Nakaya 14K gold Broad Nib. This pen has the stronger steel threads recently introduced and is cartridge/converter filled.
Closed length 5.9 inches
Uncapped 5.2 inches
Barrel diameter 0.6 inches
Weight 31.5 grams
The pen is brand new and has never been used. It is accompanied by the original boxes, kimono, and ink cartridges.
