I've been wanting a FC model 33 for a long time. I finally got one in black and kings gold. I totally love the make of the pen and the medium Stub nib by Mr. Masuyama is as usual, perfect.

Thanks for sharing! Unique pen design... How do you feel about the "bolt head" (for lack of a more adequate term) at the end of the pen? Do the block threads look strange or out of place there, do you just ignore them or do they, in your view, enhance the aesthetics of the pen?

The pics are kind of misleading. Both sections are round so the bottom becomes like the finial, but at the bottom of the pen. With the way I grip a pen for writing the threads are out of the way and I believe the look adds to the pen. Every time I've used it someone remarks about it.

Yes it's a great pen.
I have a clipless one in black and Cinnamaroon. I love the unique design and how quite a slim pen appears out of a large tube. The colour stripe leads you to expect the cap to unscrew there but instead it is at the bottom. Neat.
