I'm out. College is pricey.
1. Pelikan 400 green, oblique medium nib. Nice pen with a pretty low amount of wear. Nib has some tooth but puts down a nice, wet line. Piston works well, no cracks etc. etc. $155 shipped U.S (elsewhere at cost)
2. Soennecken 111 Superior, grey herringbone. Stubbish broad nib with a wonderful bounce. Just restored by Brad Torelli. Some discoloration along the ink window and section, but no signs of any major degradation. A wonderful example for use. $360 shipped U.S (elsewhere at cost)
3. OMAS Extra Vest Pocket, orange-tortoise celluloid. An absolutely stunning pen. The barrel, cap, section ad trim were near mint when purchased, but ink window has been replaced (better than the old replacement that it had when it came) with clear acryllic (restoring it to its original appearance) by Brad Torelli. The nib is very flexible and responsive and writes an extra-fine line under no pressure. $350 shipped U.S ("")
4. Parker "51" Flighter, all-stainless Torelli fantasy model. Unique opportunity to own an all metal "51" at a more reasonable price. The barrel, nib, and cap are all from a "51" flighter, but it has a Torelli-made hood, connector and cap jewel. Writes a wonderful fine-medium line with a nice flow. The balance is near the grip point, making it comfortable for short jots and longer notes alike. $500 shipped
