View Full Version : "SOLD" prefix for Classifieds forum

Previously, when making a listing in the Classifieds subforum you could add a prefix to the title of your post as "For Sale" or "Sold". The problem was that once you published your post you couldn't edit the prefix after your pen has sold.

This solution should fix that.

We've removed the "For Sale" prefix and added a "Sold" prefix that you should be able to edit indefinitely. Once your item has sold and you change the prefix to "Sold", it will close the thread. If something happens and you need to re-list the item, you should be able to go back and remove the "Sold" prefix and reopen the thread.

Please let me know if you run into any problems or have any questions.

Smart. Nice work! (do you guys hire some web person to do these changes, or is there a "forum company" of sorts that has updates? (Just out of curiosity)

NICE !!!

Thank you ... not that I list anything ... but when I do its nice to know we can change that to sold..

AND it is really nice that when looking through the classifieds here we know whats available and whats not before clicking the item.

Wish IP.Board had that feature available. Would make it a lot easier for sellers to mark sold listings consistently.

That is pretty slick. To show my appreciation, this will be the first place I offer something up for sale. Won't be for a week or so, but I'll start here. ;)

There's an official vBulletin forum for customers where people create mods either for free or to sell. I'll visit it occasionally and if I see something useful I'll install it. Still looking for a great solution for classifieds and user reviews...

antbasic99 a spammer has resurrected all of these really old 2012 Site News announcement posts from Dan. The spammer has been reported.

A standard piano comes with 88 keys, but smaller keyboards may have a different setup with fewer keys. The piano that Bartolomeo Cristofori first invented in Italy had only 54 keys. how many keys on a piano (https://pianoshub.com/how-many-keys-on-a-piano/)
