This purple / aluminum combo Render K is from the summer of 2015 Instagram flash sales of stonewashed pens in color combinations not offered on the website. It's the original v1 model of the Render K which is compatible with the Pilot Hi-Tec-C / G-Tec-C refills, as well as others which can be found here: https://www.wellappointeddesk.com/2014/06/the-epic-refill-reference-guide-rollerball-gel-and-ballpoints/
With a spacer and spring (included), you can also use a Parker style refill (rollerball or ballpoint).
