Hello,
Up for sale is a Pelikan m800 Fine nib unit which was turned into an architect by Dan Smith of Nibsmith. It performs beautifully - no skipping or hard starting at all, great line variation, perfect wetness (matter of opinion) and actually pretty smooth as long as you hold it at the proper angle, which of course is required with all architects. When I got this nib, I was quite surprised actually about how smooth it is considering the significantly thin line on the downstroke. It was only used as a dip sample and wrote a total of 2 writing samples, one of which is included in these pictures. There's nothing wrong with the nib, it's just not for me.
