Ero is something of a successor to the Reform company, having bought up Reform’s production facilities in 1956 and for those who don't know they made a fair amount of piston filler fountain pens. This Ero is in particularly good shape with the numbering and name imprint on the barrel being very visible. I have restored the piston mechanism in this pen and it works very well, the ink window is particularly nice and clear.

When I got the pen I took it apart and notice the pitting on the original nib and so I replaced it with a nice NOS Serwex nib that I have smoothed out. The is gold plated like the original and it fits the pen and feed very well. Included in the pictures is the original nib that the pen came with. I will also include that nib, if you feel like using that nib (it will still write but I prefer to avoid using any nib with pitting).

This is a really nice everyday use pen with a smooth piston and a smooth F nib. The pen is 5-1/8" long
