Beautiful Blue Red Ebonite barrel, made by Kullock.
Aerometric filler sucks up ink as it should.
Hard to find 14k gold broad nib, very nice and juicy writer, see close up pictures and writing samples for more detail.
Cap is in decent condition, looks nice and shiny from distance, but upon close inspection it does have several dings in it.
The bad:
- The hood/section is a slightly different shade of blue compared to the barrel and
- Small chip on the hood/section, just where the tip of nib comes out. Basically the chip makes the nib more exposed but doesn't affect function of pen and nor does it stand out much (meaning it does not looking cosmetically bad in my opinion).
- Sometimes when screwing the ebonite barrel onto the pen, it tightens too hard and then it is hard to unscrew afterwards. To correct this issue, i have put a small black O-ring near the clutch ring, just makes it so that the barrel is not screwed on too tightly. Black O-ring is small so it does not take effect cosmetics of pen.
