I've been visiting the Fountain Pen Geeks website for a while, but I never noticed before that there was a forum. Maybe it was my withdrawal from FPN during the issues that forum has been suffering.
I teach math and science in a rural school in North Dakota. I collect fountain pens as well. I look at them as a tool to use, so none of them sit as pretty objects.
My fountain pen life started when my parents got a pen catalog as junk mail when I was in fourth grade. I saved up and purchased a Parker Vector. Late in high school I added a Cross fountain pen to be its friend. Since then, I've slowly added a few pens. This past year, I discovered Noodler's pens and I also purchased a Pilot Custom 823, the real treasure of my collection.
I look forward to seeing what this forum has to offer.
ETA: here is my collection
