Any tips for some resources for improving my handwriting? I'd like it to look a little less like a drunken spider had taken a swim in my ink bottle before staggering around my page and having a thorough vomit...

I've looked at Sull's American Cursive, but that capital A really puts me off.

Something along these (https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/19/aa/46/19aa468613dd6b1448962d197d775cab.jpg) lines (English cursive script) by preference.

That looks a little like Copper plate to me.

1) Practice: Get a notebook and write out the alphabet in your desired script. Do it again, again, and again. Then do it some more. After you tire of it, maybe copy passages from your favorite book. 2) Take your time: My penmanship is terrible when I write quickly, but it drastically improves when I write slowly.
