I'm going to be living in Tampa from September 17 until March 2018, then Vegas from the following May for a couple of years. I won't be that mobile at Tampa as I'll be sharing a car with my work colleagues, but will have my own in Vegas. Are there any recommendations for shows or stores nearby?

The SF Pen show is closer to both Tampa and Vegas than you would think. The show is actually in Redwood city which is a solid 15 miles closer than San Francisco. Essentially just on the edge of a quick commute from either city.

See you on the 26th?

Not this year unfortunately - I leave Germany mid-Sep. Next year might work out very nicely with various other long term plans though...

Thanks - I will keep an eye out for it!

Ever since Bill's Pen Shop closed down some years ago Tampa has been a sad place for FP geeks. :(
However there are three places, close to each other, that you might like to visit:
- MB boutique on International Plaza
- Mori Luggage on Westshore Plaza (has some Waterman pens and inks)
- Blick Art on Westshore Blvd (Rhodia and other FP friendly notebooks)

Unfortunately an app at the moment... Something to rectify.

Finally got around to visiting Mori. No Waterman's any more [emoji17]

A small handful of Cross rollerballs was the lot.

Dang! Things are really getting bad in Tampa... A few years ago there was a Cranes stationery and a Franklin Covey store in the International Mall. Both carried a small selection of FPs and ink and both have closed.

On the bright side (?) I found a bottle of Parker Quink black ink in Staples the last time I was in Tampa. I also read about a place called The Paper Seahorse that sells Kaweco and Lamy pens and inks. Couldn't visit it though.

It's less than 10 mins walk from me! I'll check it out soon (it's shut on Sundays, but will check it on MLK Day).
