MB 146 medium nib unit only

Hello,

I am selling my MB 146 fine nib unit. This nib writes very consistently. I have not experienced any hard starts or skips on any paper I have (tomoe river, rhodia, copy). It's flow is moderate, not heavy and not dry. There is feedback on this nib as it's a fine but by no means is it scratchy.

Hello,

I am selling an 18k medium two tone nib unit. These nib units are threaded, similar to a pelikan or a visconti, so all you have to do to swap them is to unscrew.

This only applies to pens made after the Montblanc 90th Anniversary. For pens made earlier than this, there is a pink glue fixing them inside and you need to buy a special tool to remove the nib unit. Lest people should start trying to unscrew their Montblanc 146 nib units and breaking them. :blink:

Very true. Of course playing with removing nib units is at your own risk and should only be done if you know what you are doing. Visconti units, at least the larger number 6 ones, should be removed with a tool also.

Hi... wondering if you'd be willing to swap this nib unit with the fine in the 146 you're selling in previous thread? I'm looking for a fine MB 146 or 149-size nib unit for a custom build I'm about to commission...
