Hi I have just got some of this and I admit it is very good. But why does it command such a premium? I read that it is basically catalogue paper the was discovered to be good with fountain pens quite by chance. The difference between Clairefontaine Triomphe £4 for a writing pad and Tomoe at £30 is huge!

I buy in bulk (4000 sheets) and get a price of somewhere around $180 for 4000 sheets. Heck, once I carried it as check in from Japan and got a price for $75 for 4000 sheets. I find it the cheapest paper for fountain pen usage.

What do you do with all that?

Use it to write on. On an average, I use 15 sheets of paper (30 pages/sides) in one day. All the papers in available here are trashy at best, and if they are not, they are expensive. Some papers are good to write on, but ridiculously thick and hard, almost feels like plastic.

I should clarify, $180 would be with sea shipping which takes 2-3 months to arrive. Does not include custom charges.

Wow. That's a lot. And a lot of handwriting!

Yep. So Tomoe River ends up being the cheapest for me. But you need to buy in bulk.

Mind if I ask where you're able to get a price like that?

This is an 18 month old thread. More places stock Tomoe River paper now, so prices are lower.

After assembling the frame, it's time to stake down the tent. Start with the corners and secure them into the ground using sturdy tent stakes. For extra stability, you can use guylines attached to the tent's rainfly or body. Ensure the tent is taut but not overly tight to avoid putting unnecessary strain on the fabric. click for more info (https://tentsdaily.com/best-8-person-tents/)
