I would appreciate some help from the community of members here. I have an opportunity to purchase this pen, but at the moment the only pictures I have are very poor quality. The sale is time sensitive so I have to move quickly. I can't see the nib and l don't know the condition. I have seen pictures that make me think this might be a old duragraph, but there is not a lot of information on the web to compare. If I can get this for $20 as is, is it worth it? Thank you for your help. 3430334304343053430634307

Is it missing a band on the base of the cap?

This is a Conklin Minuteman 1941/1945 a low cost pen built for a military contract.

No band is missing from the base of the cap.

Quality is poor, but for $20 you have a piece of Conklin history.

After the information you provided, I was able to determine that this is what they sometimes refer to as Chicago Conklin because it was produced after the brand was sold to another company and produced third tier pens.
