When others make fools of themselves and annoy members by changing their web sites, implementing obscure and complicated rules and regulations it is refreshing to find a place that is simple to use with an easy to follow forum and a clean presentation. THANK YOU! Please don't change. Change is not always for the better.

Hats off to both the Admin. and moderators for a great job. Allowing this site to openly discuss the joys of everything related fountain pens. Simple is better.

With one exception: The recent addition of a Paraphernalia section was a lovely change for those of use whose desks are filled with it.

We're getting a lot of "change" refugees at the moment!
This board changes too - but more incrementally - and in consultation!

Probably just the 'refugees' bit is more than adaquate!
We all need our 'fix' and as long as we aren't banished to one of the islands to await a decision on our status, we're happy.
(Sorry, couldn't resist the dig;) )

Off Topic:
Why is it that you very rarely see the Sheaffer in your avatar on ebay.com, but the Australian made pens are just as good as the US made ones ... and they did some variations of their own of the US models?

Well, they're just as good, so no one wants to sell them...

Most of the ones in UK are Australian made and it took me ages and a move to ebay.com to find they were also made in US.
Perhaps it's time someone gave a bit of history of the Sheaffers Australian operation?
