Just got home from the Commonwealth Pen Show in Boston, which should be ending just about now. Just a small haul for my wife and me:
34612
The Noodler's ink was free to all attendees, and the Oster is Frankly Blue, made just for Federalist Pens. Both pens were for my wife: a Noodler's Neponset in Calligraphy Stone and a small black pen that it a left foot oblique italic. Not shown are a Tomoe River bound journal and a nice set of note cards.
Here's the little pen again:
34611
There seem to be no markings at all on it, except for this on the band:
34613
If anyone knows what that means, we are curious!
The other show success was this one:
34610
I've had (and loved) this Swan Calligraph for a while, but the nib was crazy scratchy. I got there early enough to get Richard Binder to work on the nib for me.
Pretty good, I think, given this was our second show ever and we are really new to the game.
