I've always been a night owl since I was 5 years old or so. It confused my teachers and friends because they had a bedtime around 8, and mine was midnight. Then, but luck of the draw, I went to Rice where the owl was our mascot.

Is this a custom design? Or one of that is in currently in circulation.

Either way, it's absolutely gorgeous and I"m green with envy (eep! Sorry, I couldn't resist).

The green-under-brown Heki-tamenuri is nice but should do this green-under-black as a standard tamenuri finish as well.
