I've tried several things to eliminate the squeak in the nib of my Pelikan M120. Any suggestions would be welcome. So far, I've tried flossing, removing and reinstalling it... I have tried to replace it outright, but I am having difficulty located the right size.

From my experience, nibs usually squeak when they're over polished. I'd advise using a rougher grit mesh (maybe 12000 or 8000) and running a few "eights" on it, but do this at your own risk.

Some people say their nibs “squeak” while others say they “sing”. If I had a vintage Pelikan 120 I would say it sings to me! ;)

Have you tried changing ink? I would guess dryer ink would make the 'singing' worse. Try Waterman or Montblanc ink.
