Thanks for that too. I've been wondering lately about ink pH. I received a package of ink from an o/s supplier the other day and it came with a generic MSDS that covered 19 brands of ink (all the likely suspects). The most interesting fact on the sheet was the ink pH, wher it said:

"General pH: 2-8 (depends on colour)"

Now I'm wondering which colours come in at pH 2. And also whether there was a brand difference, at all.
Yeeks! If it doesn't damage the sacs, won't it damage the paper long-term?

But, having said that, I'm not going to spend $150-600 to find out. I did consider asking the various ink manufacturers to supply individual MSDSs, but hey, I guess it's not that important.
