Not quite a blue black, but not really a straight up blue either. Really interesting ink.

I got this from Ink Drop and I had about the same experience, all of the Scribal Workshop's inks worked well on cheap paper.

Ok, it doesn't lean green but does it lean purple?

There is a bit of a purple lean to it, but just slightly.
